Project Overview
Bajaj Electricals established the Bajaj Experience Centre as a technology-driven facility combining executive decision-making, real-time monitoring, intelligent automation, and IoT demonstration within a unified infrastructure. Located in Sion, Mumbai, the centre was designed to function as a command hub, collaboration environment, and smart technology showcase.
The objective was to implement an integrated AV and automation ecosystem capable of supporting live data visualization, executive communication, product demonstrations, and intelligent environmental control through a centralized and intuitive control framework.
Design Intent
The goal was to create an enterprise-grade command and collaboration environment that integrates AV systems, automation, and IoT intelligence into a scalable and centrally managed architecture.
Solution Approach
Play approached the Experience Centre deployment with a strong focus on centralized control, real-time visualization, and seamless integration between AV, automation, and IoT systems. The solution was designed to unify command operations, executive collaboration, and smart building demonstration within a single structured and scalable architecture.
Key elements of the solution included:
- A multi-display visualization environment incorporating interactive panels and a centrally processed video wall to enable dynamic, real-time content monitoring
- HDMI signal routing and multi-source distribution infrastructure allowing flexible content management across multiple displays
- Integrated DSP-based audio systems with amplification and distributed speakers ensuring speech clarity in command and conference environments
- Professional video conferencing setup with PTZ camera enabling executive-level remote collaboration
- Centralized audio matrix switching and processing supporting seamless multi-source control
- Large interactive display systems supporting both wired and wireless presentation workflows
- Signal management infrastructure including HDMI extenders, USB auto-switchers, and scalers ensuring stable and simplified content switching
- Control processor with tablet interface and wall-mounted keypads enabling single-touch operation across AV, lighting, and HVAC systems
- Deployment of environmental sensors monitoring temperature, humidity, air quality, and occupancy to demonstrate intelligent building functionality
- Integration of sensor modules with automation logic systems for real-time data-driven control and analytics
- Dedicated media server and managed network backbone supporting IoT data processing and visualization
- IP surveillance and people-counting cameras enabling analytics-based monitoring
- DALI-based lighting control with RGB LED integration supporting scene-based automation
- High-voltage relay modules and IP-based power monitoring integrated with HVAC control systems for coordinated facility management
