Project Overview
At Mr. Darak’s residence, the requirement was to create a fully integrated home automation ecosystem that unifies lighting, audio-visual entertainment, climate control, security, and network infrastructure within a premium living environment. The existing approach of standalone systems did not align with the vision of seamless, centralized control.
The objective was to design a cohesive smart home architecture where all subsystems communicate reliably through a unified backbone—enhancing comfort, security, and everyday convenience while ensuring long-term stability and ease of use.
Design Intent
The goal was to establish a centralized automation environment that delivers intuitive control, lifestyle-driven customization, and structured infrastructure reliability within a luxury residential setting.
Solution Approach
Play executed the integration with a system-first design approach focused on cohesion and operational simplicity:
- Centralized automation processor managing lighting circuits, dimming functions, and subsystem communication through a structured backbone
- Scene-based multi-zone lighting control using dimming modules and wall-mounted keypads for ambience customization
- Integrated audio-visual systems across entertainment areas, centrally controlled through the automation platform
- HVAC integration enabling centralized temperature management and scheduled climate control
- Biometric access control with visitor verification and secure door control integration
- Enterprise-grade network backbone with structured cabling and centralized rack setup to ensure stable IP communication and organized equipment housing
Implementation was executed with disciplined infrastructure planning to ensure clean installation, serviceability, and long-term scalability.
Outcome
The residence now functions as a synchronized smart living environment with centralized control across lighting, AV, HVAC, and security systems. Scene-based automation enhances comfort and energy efficiency, while integrated access control strengthens residential security. The structured network and rack design ensure operational stability and simplified maintenance.
