Project Overview

Fine Arts Society required a standardized and easy-to-operate AV ecosystem across its academic and cultural spaces in Chembur. The institution aimed to enable digital teaching, multimedia presentations, and remote interaction while ensuring simplicity for faculty and administrative teams.

The existing infrastructure lacked consistency across rooms, limiting the effectiveness of hybrid sessions and collaborative engagement. The objective was to implement a uniform and scalable AV framework that supports classrooms, presentation areas, and cultural spaces without introducing operational complexity.

Design Intent

The goal was to create a consistent, hybrid-ready AV infrastructure that ensures clear communication, simplified collaboration, and ease of use across diverse learning and cultural environments.

Solution Approach

Play approached the institutional AV upgrade with a strong focus on standardization, hybrid readiness, and operational simplicity. The solution was designed to create a uniform, USB-based collaboration ecosystem that remains easy for faculty to operate while ensuring consistent performance across classrooms and cultural spaces.

Key elements of the solution included:

  • Large-format professional UHD displays deployed across experience zones and classrooms, aligned to room size and viewing requirements
  • Dedicated PCs integrated within each room to ensure centralized and reliable content playback
  • Full HD USB cameras enabling hybrid learning, virtual interaction, and remote participation across academic and cultural spaces
  • USB-based speakerphone systems with expansion microphones to ensure clear voice pickup and wide room coverage
  • Wall-mounted speaker systems with mixer amplification in larger spaces to maintain audio clarity during presentations and interactive sessions
  • Wireless handheld and lapel microphones supporting presenter mobility and dynamic engagement
  • Wireless keyboards and peripherals simplifying instructor operation without technical dependency
  • Standardized 43”, 55”, and 98” display configurations ensuring predictable functionality across small classrooms, big classrooms, and showcase environments
  • Plug-and-play USB collaboration workflows minimizing setup time and reducing faculty learning curves
  • Uniform installation logic and structured cabling practices to support clean aesthetics and simplified long-term maintenance

Every design decision prioritized hybrid capability, intuitive usability, and consistency across room types — ensuring that teaching, cultural engagement, and institutional presentations can be conducted seamlessly without operational complexity.

Outcome

The deployment transformed Fine Arts Society into a digitally enabled and hybrid-capable institution. Classrooms and cultural spaces now operate with standardized AV configurations that ensure consistent user experience and simplified workflows.

Faculty can conduct sessions with minimal technical complexity, while remote participants experience clear audio and visual communication.

The result is a scalable, usability-focused AV ecosystem that modernizes learning and cultural engagement while ensuring long-term operational reliability.
