Project Overview
The Ronak Punjabi Residence required a seamlessly integrated AV, lighting automation, and security ecosystem designed around comfort, simplicity, and aesthetic discipline. The objective was to create a technology-enabled home where entertainment, lighting environments, and surveillance systems function cohesively under a centralized framework.
The requirement extended beyond device installation. The intent was to establish a structured residential backbone that ensures operational ease, clean interiors, and long-term scalability without visual clutter.
Design Intent
The goal was to unify entertainment, lighting control, and security systems into a premium yet easy-to-operate residential ecosystem while maintaining minimal hardware visibility and centralized infrastructure management.
Solution Approach
Play approached the residential automation with a strong emphasis on comfort, intuitive usability, and seamless aesthetic integration. The solution was designed to unify lighting, curtain control, and audio-visual systems under a centralized architecture while keeping all hardware discreet and visually unobtrusive.
Key elements of the solution included:
- A centralized lighting automation backbone managing multiple circuits across living, dining, bedrooms, bathrooms, pooja room, and transitional spaces
- Scene-based lighting presets enabling instant ambience changes for activities such as entertainment, dining, relaxation, and night mode
- Layered lighting architecture incorporating cove lights, spotlights, chandelier circuits, mirror LEDs, balcony lighting, and floor illumination to enhance spatial depth
- Automated dual-track curtain systems providing effortless daylight and privacy control in primary living and bedroom areas
- Integrated television and audio systems in key spaces, ensuring centralized entertainment without visible wiring clutter
- Wall-mounted keypad interfaces replacing multiple traditional switches to simplify room-level control
- Structured dimmer and relay modules for organized load management and reduced wall clutter
- A consolidated backend control panel ensuring clean infrastructure, simplified servicing, and future scalability
