Project Overview
Alkem Laboratories required a standardized AV deployment across multiple meeting rooms and a dedicated video conferencing room to support daily meetings, presentations, and remote collaboration. The existing setup lacked uniformity, creating variations in system behavior and user experience across rooms.
The objective was to establish a consistent and reliable collaboration framework where employees could experience identical workflows, control logic, and performance standards regardless of the room they used.
Design Intent
The goal was to create a uniform and control-driven AV environment that simplifies meeting initiation, enhances collaboration clarity, and minimizes technical dependency across all meeting spaces.
Solution Approach
Play implemented a centralized, control-centric AV architecture focused on repeatability and operational stability:
- Centralized control processors managing switching, audio routing, and device automation across rooms
- HDBaseT-based video transmission ensuring stable, high-quality signal delivery from source devices to displays
- Dedicated amplification and ceiling speaker systems engineered for uniform speech coverage
- Tablet-based control interfaces integrated through secure docking solutions for clean tabletop management
- Identical hardware configuration across meeting rooms to maintain consistent user workflows
- Dedicated VC room integration aligned with the same control logic to ensure familiarity and seamless hybrid conferencing
- Structured cabling and centralized processing designed for long-term reliability and simplified maintenance
Deployment emphasized system standardization to reduce complexity while maintaining professional collaboration performance.
Outcome
The deployment delivered a cohesive and dependable AV ecosystem across Alkem Laboratories’ meeting environments. Meetings now begin with minimal learning curve, audio clarity is consistent for in-room and remote participants, and video transmission remains stable for professional presentations.
The standardized architecture reduces support dependency while ensuring consistent system behavior across spaces, establishing reliable and efficient collaboration environments aligned with corporate standards.
